funny and interesting
note some details among others : • the "sound powered electro suspension car" with the ability to stuck to the road -> Spielberg's Minority report Maglev cars ( http://uplink.space.com/attachments/514680-Maglev2cb.JPG http://images.salon.com/ent/movies/int/2002/07/10/underkoffler_belker/story.jpg http://www.resnet.trinity.edu/dbourque/dystopia/photos/cap045.jpg ) • the overall architecture depicted in the movie shows many similarity to Brasilian architect Oscar Niemeyer ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oscar_Niemeyer http://www.egodesign.ca/_files/articles/31d_oscarniemeyer_niteroi.jpg http://www.aboutbrasilia.com/images/alvorada.jpg http://www.designcommunity.com/forums/gallery2/d/24117-2/cid_IMG_2240-20050516km.jpg )

Cool and creepy
There are a few things that seems really cool like the lighted highway and the flying ambulance/firetruck vehicle. But the monster highway making machine and that other one that melts the mountain... yikes!

Ah, unquestioning faith in technology!
With all those "visionary" ideas, its funny that they seemed to think all this stuff would still be designed with T-squares and triangles! What happened to all the old buildings and infrastructure? Was it obliterated in a nuclear holocaust?
